COVID-19 - Update regarding our 22 April 2020 Coins, Medals, Militaria and Banknotes Auction
In the interests of keeping our customers and staff safe, and in line with the current Government advice, we will be holding our 22 April 2020 Coins, Medals, Militaria and Banknotes Auction behind closed doors.
There will be no public viewing of the sale. This is to avoid breaching social distancing advice but also to comply with regulations on unnecessary journeys.
There will be no public attendance at the sale. Please contact us as soon as possible via email (info@warwickandwarwick.com) or telephone (01926 499 031) if you require further information or images of lots you are interested in bidding on.
Bids can be submitted in the following ways: -
Please remember to include your name, full address and telephone number in all communications.
Lots purchased from the auction can only be despatched by post or courier and cannot be collected in person. Again, we have been advised forcefully by the police that collection of auction lots falls under the unnecessary travel provisions. Purchases must be paid for in the normal way but we are happy to store lots if requested until the situation changes. If you are intending to instruct a private courier to collect your lots please let us as soon as possible so we can make necessary arrangements.
Realisations and lot despatch for this auction will not be available before the Friday after the sale.
Collection of lots already purchased
Where lots have been purchased in previous sales and paid for they will be despatched by post or courier.
Again, lots cannot be collected in person from our premises. We have been advised by the police that attendance at our premises for that purpose would constitute an unnecessary journey.
Receiving properties for sale
Valuation days will be temporarily suspended. Clients are encouraged to discuss sale of material with members of staff but are asked to be patient if it is difficult to contact us by telephone. Initial contact by email giving contact details and a brief description of the property would be most helpful. Where appropriate we may arrange courier transport.
Collections of properties by Warwick & Warwick vans will be suspended. In some cases, it may be that collection by courier will be possible. Our staff will discuss this with you.
We will continue to keep all our customers updated via our website and our social media accounts regarding any future changes.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
