A Peek into November stamps

As part of our November Stamp sale we are pleased to be offering specialised sections of Antarctica.
In the Golden Days of Exploration Antarctica provided many Expeditions from several countries including the UK with Explorers e.g. Scott, Oates and Shackleton, Sweden, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Germany, Belgium, Norway.
Postal History in the form of cards, covers and letters are always very popular and in the sale lots include Lot 137, 1901 Captain Scott Wrench set of 4 postcards
Lot 143, 1907-9 BAT Expedition headed sheet of paper from RMS Olympic endorsed by E.H. Shackleton, Postmaster.
Falkland Island sections Inculding,
Lot 221, 1920 1/- watermark reversed, only one sheet known, (SG 72bx) M.
Always popular range of postmarks including lot 239 QV collection of Stanley Post Office Obliterators, Lot 243 1895-9 9d with part Government cds.
Lot 244, 1912-20 10/- with Registrar General cds in violet.
Lot 242, Port Lockroy Operation Tabarin cover.
Two further items of interest that I have selected are Lot 171, Barbados 1857 lettersheet to New Orleans with clear Paid at Barbados Crowned Circle h/s.
Lot 198, Newfoundland 1847 entire with clear Crowned Circle h/s.
