Rarest of sovereigns in 16th August Coin Auction

An extremely rare 1819 sovereign is offered in our 16th August 2017 coin auction with an estimate of £90,000.

 

3,574 sovereigns were struck in 1819 with only 10 thought to exist today, making this the rarest of sovereigns.
