£20 banknote error to be sold in our 18th February 2015 Banknote Auction

4th November 2014

With any mechanised process mistakes happen and the printing of the money we use on a daily basis is no exception.

Most errors are spotted before being released to the public but occasionally one slips through the checking process.

This 1990’s £20 with the Queens portrait missing will be included in our 18th February 2015 specialist banknote auction.

For other interesting banknotes look out for our 9th December 2014 Banknote Auction catalogue which will appear on our website in the next few weeks or keep an eye on our twitter and facebook accounts which will include updates of our latest auction news.
